A pair of early Western Australian colonial portraits depicting Mr & Mrs Tapper
Oil on Rowney mahogany panels
The first Tapper is recorded as arriving in Western Australia in 1830. The Taper Inlet is named after the family. The Fremantle Maritime Museum has a watch which once belonged to the family.
